How your letter is written
Your letter is drafted by Anthropic's Claude, working from a template WRITTEN BY US and the answers you give in the questionnaire. The template decides the structure, the tone and the arguments; your answers fill it in.
Nothing is sent without a person reading it first. Every letter is checked line by line before it reaches you, and we will rewrite or reject anything that is not right.
What this is not
We draft letters. We do not give legal advice, and a letter is not a substitute for advice about your particular situation. If what you are facing is complex or carries serious consequences, please speak to a qualified solicitor or an advice service such as Citizens Advice.
We cannot promise an outcome. A well-argued letter improves your chances; it does not guarantee them.
Your information
Your answers are sent to Anthropic solely to produce your letter. They are not used to train any model, and Anthropic does not retain them for that purpose.
Any supporting files you upload are stored securely, seen only by the person reviewing your letter, and deleted automatically three days after it is sent. There is more detail in our privacy policy.
Checking your letter
Read your letter before you send it. We ask for the facts in the questionnaire, so if something there was wrong or missing it will be wrong in the letter too.
Check names, dates, reference numbers and amounts in particular. If anything is wrong, reply to the email we sent and we will put it right.
