1. About LetterAid
LetterAid is a letter-drafting service operated by [LEGAL COMPANY NAME], a [SOLE TRADER / LIMITED COMPANY] registered in England and Wales. You can reach us at hello@letteraid.co.uk.
2. The service
When you buy a letter through LetterAid, you complete a questionnaire about your situation, pay a one-off fee, and we deliver a tailored letter to your email within 48 hours. Every letter is reviewed by a real person before it is sent.
LetterAid provides letter-drafting assistance. We do not provide legal advice. If your situation is complex or carries significant consequences, please consult a qualified solicitor.
3. Pricing and payment
Letter prices are shown on the website at the point of purchase, in pounds sterling, inclusive of VAT (where applicable). Payment is taken at checkout via Stripe. We do not store your card details.
4. Delivery
We aim to deliver your letter to the email address you provided within 48 hours of payment being confirmed. Most letters arrive well within this window.
If we cannot complete your letter (for example, if the situation does not fit the letter type you chose, or the information you gave is incomplete), we will contact you to discuss and, if necessary, refund the order in full.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information in the questionnaire
- Reviewing the finished letter before sending it
- Sending the letter to the relevant authority or recipient
- Following up on any response or deadlines
We are not liable for outcomes that depend on how, when, or to whom you send the letter, or for matters outside our control.
6. Refunds
Our refund policy is published at /refunds. In short: contact us at hello@letteraid.co.uk and we'll review your request fairly. Refunds for digital services delivered are at our discretion under UK consumer law.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence. For all other matters, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the letter.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. The terms in force at the time you place an order are the ones that apply to your order.
